Description

Join London College of Fashion, UAL as Head of College Professor Frances Corner interviews rising star designers Bethany Williams and Phoebe English.

LCF alumna Bethany Williams was recently awarded the second ever Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, recognizing her charity work and sustainable practices. She designs using recycled and organic materials, and her recent collection gave 20% of its profits to a women’s shelter. Designing both womenswear and menswear, Phoebe English’s label was founded in 2011, with a strong focus on sustainability, and her pieces are made entirely in England.

London College of Fashion, UAL is a world leader in fashion design, media and business education. It has been nurturing creative talent for over a century, with a focus on sustainability, innovation and enterprise. Across every subject, it encourages students to examine the past and challenge the present. To have inventive, assertive ideas that challenge social and political agendas. It gives them the skills, opportunities – and above all, the freedom – to put those ideas into practice.
